The HebrewGuide application is very powerful and very simple to use.
The following notes will provide you with more information to take full advantage of the application.
VOCABULARY section:
Click on the ‘VOCABULARY’ tab bar on the Bottom.
Choose one of the seventeen categories and click the select button.
You can now see the English word, the Hebrew word, and you can listen to the correct pronunciation by clicking the ‘Listen’ button.
You can hide the English word or the Hebrew word by clicking one of the ’Hide’ buttons, and you can test yourself, the same way as you would use flash cards.
You can also record yourself by clicking the red ‘REC’ button; Wait until the button shows ‘STOP’ and then start speaking. When you are done click the button again.
To listen to your recording, click the blue ‘Play’ button.
To select another category – click the back button on the top-left of the screen.
PHRASES section:
Click the ‘PHRASES’ tab bar on the Bottom.
Choose one of the nineteen categories, select your gender by clicking on the ‘Female / Male’ button and then click the ‘Select’ button.
The rest of the buttons function the same way as in the VOCABULARY section.
ESSENTIALS section:
Click the ‘ESSENTIALS’ tab bar on the Bottom.
Choose one of the categories, and then click the ‘Select’ button.
The rest of the buttons function the same way as in the VOCABULARY and PHRASES sections.
